Benecia is a Terran Federation colony world.
History[]
In the final years of the Great Breakout, members of the Senate of the Terran Federation was lobbying to decrease funding from the Interstellar Exploration Committee to improve the economy.
During this time, the colony ship SS Holmes was sent to colonize a recently discovered planet known as Benecia. Shown to be rich in medicinal plants and minerals, Benecia developed a Pharmaceutical colony within a few years. The richness eventually led to Benecia being established as a prosperous Staple colony.
