Terra Nova is a Terran Federation colony world.
History[]
Following the colonization of Eden Prime, Ronald Tracey detected another habitable planet in the Eridu Sector. He soon surveyed the planet, which became known as Terra Nova, and discovered that the planet was rich is resources and fertile land. Following Tracey's discovery, Terra Nova was colonized by the crew of the SS Lamberton.
Terra Nova's colonists, later known as Novans, immediately set to work in developing the colony. The development of the colony led to thousands of new colonists arriving from Earth. This led to Terra Nova developing its unique foods such as Novan whiskey and Trelvin ale. This led to Terra Nova becoming a vital staple colony. Terra Nova was one of many worlds swept up in the Sports Renaissance with the creations of its own baseball, basketball, hockey, and football leagues. By the 27th century, the colony had 4.4 Billion colonists.
Terra Nova saw large influxes in its population with refugees from the Tzenkethi and Scoodian Wars being brought to Terra Nova. The colony was also one of the candidates for the resettlement of the Naish species.
